If a woman was in a bad marriage and cheated on her husband before they got divorced, can she be trusted, or is she likely to do it again.

People can change. All relationships are different. You cant judge this woman by what she did in her past. If you care for her and want to start a relationship with her then give it a try. All relationship involve trust and honesty. If she was honest and told you about her past relationship where she cheated then she can be trusted she could have kept the information from you.

I dont buy into the once a cheater always a cheater mentality. Poeple make mistakes. And no I have never cheated and never will, but I have been cheated on. I do believe it will take extra effort to trust her but dont let a good thing slip away because she made a mistake in the past.

Honestly, I dont think thats true. I know ALOT of people that cheated all the time on boyfriends/girlfriends. But as soon as they found the "one" they really wanted to be with, all the cheating stopped. Maybe its some way of "testing the waters" and once you find what you are looking for, then you are TRUELY happy. Then again, I am sure there are exceptions to that as well.
Trust is something that is built, its not just a givin.

being in a bad marriage is not a reason to cheat.cheating makes a bad marriage.if a person cheats b/c their marriage is having problems then that is the way that person handles trouble.if that person is upset again then what cheat ?I am not saying once a cheater,always one,but if you cheat once it's a whole lot easier the next time.

i experience that u cant a person but a person could change themselve
reality is us human have it in our system
in our life time a human willl atleast cheat once
its out nature
but if the person has moral and honor n respect there significant other than u have nothing to worry about but u have to be doing ur job right at home

I never cheated on my ex-husband, but he cheated on me several times. After we divorced he told me that it got easier each time. If she felt her marriage was over before she started her affair, I would say you could not judge her on one time cheating. If it was an ongoing thing where she cheated numerous time, find someone else.

Well, if she was not given attention or sex or any love ..she would naturally go and get it elsewhere...obviously she wants to be loved ..so i would say ..no...once a cheater always a cheater ...depends on the situtation...i don' think so.

women cheat for much different reasons than men do. They cheat as a general for emotional reasons. So I would say yes she can be trusted

well we can say that sometimes, love fade away not in the right time, although she cheated once its not mean she will do it again and again...maybe she has reason though. Give 2nd chance who knows someday...!
