The milk is filling her up. I had the same problem with my son. You need to start off mixing the milk with water...first 2 ounces, then another 2, until it is so watered down she doesn't want the milk. If she prefers drinking milk from her sippy cup, don't give it to her like that. You could give her some milk, at meal times, in a different cup...those little bathroom cups work pretty good for small hands, but be ready for little spills. Good luck.

My daughter went through the same thing about 6 months ago & she's 2 now! She'd drink milk constantly & not want anything else! My health visitor told me to cut her milk down to one at bedtime & one in the morning but it was very hard. I still gave her one midday aswell but her eating didn't improve! I think it's just a phase they all go through at some point, like right now all my daughter will eat is fish fingers & beans/weetabix/the odd chicken meal depending on what is with it & ice poles!!!
My H/V said that if she is hungry she will eat something which if you think about it is true. I'm slowly introducing new things to my daughter & somedays she will go without tea as she just will not eat what I offer her, I've tried giving her the option, I've tried leaving her in her chair until she eats something but she just screams until I get her down!
Your daughter will know when she's hungry & will eat so try not to worry, unless she's losing weight dramatically just keep trying!
Good luck

are you pregant again, or have you just had a child. My 3yr old did this in january when i had my last baby. She insisted we by her a baby bottle, and fillit with milk, she would then climb onto the free parent, when the other was feeding the baby and insist on being fed like the baby. It only lasted a month, but we played along with it, it was the only signs of jealously she showed. I think where food is concerned you have to learn to pick your battles. As long as your child is fit and healthy dont worry. I decided to battle over food with my first one, and now i wished i had not. He is 15 and still has a thing about veg. Out of seven kids i have two who are fussy eaters, but dont worry too much, there are more important battles at the end of the day.

toddlers flow through a fussy degree. At her age, she should not be having extra beneficial than 24 oz. of milk an afternoon, or so my pedi says. My oldest daughter went through this area - at this factor you do no longer in all probability could make confident she's getting lots of kind. as long as what you're feeding her is healthful, she could be high-quality. attempt to grant her quite a few small food an afternoon. in line with risk if she'll have a cereal bar and 0.5 a banana interior the a.m, some hours later you are able to supply her some crackers and cheese. i might merely attempt to alter along with her. save an eye fixed on her weight, nonetheless. If she starts dropping weight, she could be considered via a pedi perfect away. they could desire to place her on Pedia-confident. I doubt there is something incorrect - teenagers flow through those ranges. yet I additionally motivate each parent who concerns approximately issues like this to merely call their rfile's place of work and flow away a msg for the rfile to call decrease back. the newborn in all probability would not could desire to be considered, yet your rfile could a minimum of chat with you with regards to the priority and then settle on no count if the toddler could are available in or no longer! solid success! playstation - if she's nevertheless on a bottle, it fairly is a solid concept to get her off it. The milk element may be a convenience concern because of the fact it fairly is provided in a bottle? And milk is unquestionably no longer great for toddlers - it certainly motives microscopic bleeding interior the gastric device and could make your newborn constipated in the event that they have too lots of it! My youngest had very no longer uncomplicated poops for an prolonged time and at considered one of her appts, her pedi advised me to shrink her decrease back from 30 oz..of milk an afternoon to 24. Her poops in the present day grew to strengthen into commonly used back.

Oh, how I feel your pain. They will eat when they get hungry.
Some things I have noticed with my 2 y/o is that if they can walk around with the food, they are more likely to eat it. Also, my son will eat yogurt, applesauce and buttered toast. He likes pudding and jello also.
Now, that may not sound like the most healthy diet in the world, but my 2 y/o is off the charts for height and weight (but he is not over weight, he is proportional).
My son likes pizza, grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly, peanuts, cheese crackers (like cheese nips)
Good luck!

My son is the same way. My pediatrician told me to continue giving him milk and also she wrote me a prescription for a suplement to add to his milk.If you can't get her to eat and all she wants is milk then you should give it to her.You can just add some things to her milk. I sometimes add some oatmeal or rice baby cerael (my son is 3) then i just cut the nipple so he can get itout easily.I also give him the nutritional suplement the dr. gave us. He doesn't like the taste of the cerael in the bottle so i put chocolate syrup in it to make it sweet.I know it sounds awful to give your child only milk but they gotta have something.Good Luck to you.

Was she in a growth spurt before. I would not be to concerned unless it goes on for a prolonged period of time. If it is still bothering you then do a food journal. You will probably be suprised by how much she is eating.
