I don`t think you can get a refund without a receipt just a credit note...unless you paid by credit /debit card then the Bank statement is a receipt.

No they wont give you a refund but will exchange the cable for another item in the store, unless you brought it very recent then they can look back at their copies of reciepts but only if you can remember what date and time you purchased the cable...good luck

hi if you go back to the shop and see the same person whom sold the cable to you on the till then providing that you take it back still in the original packaging and not opened then most likely they will exchange it for the correct cable ok make sure you go back to the shop within the next day or so otherwise they might not exchange it ok

probably not. But try anyway. How much did it cost? Sell it on eBay and buy the cable you need from there.
Don't buy from Dixon's they are a rip off.

This is the second question on the same theme, if you are able to go out and buy things like cables and a mouse, then you are old enough to know you keep the receipt til you know it works...

hi,
if cable is in original packing and in good order etc then it is my understanding that they don't have to refund money but will probably give you a credit voucher, however you may be lucky!

It depends on whether you still have the packaging it came with or any labels to say it's theirs, and how long ago you bought it, i would still take it back and just explain your mistake. Good luck.

Probably not but they might exchange it for something else. Don't you have a CC receipt or something?
