Your box requires a re-authorization signal from the cable company. Depending on your cable provider, you may be able to do this automatically over the phone by calling their automated phone system, or even over the Internet if your account is registered on their website. Failing that, you can have customer service re-send the signal. Sometimes, it may also just require a re-boot by disconnecting it from the power supply for a few seconds and plugging it back in. A minute or two after pressing the power button, you should get a "loading data, please wait" message and will get all of your programming guide information restored.
