The clean ones not being used I kept in a ziploc bag in the kitchen cupboard. I also kept two in a baggie in her diaper bag at all times.

After sterilzing them.....ie immerse them in a mugful of boiling water for 5 minute or however long...put them in a bowl thats kept in the fridge. This will help keep the germs at bay.

If you routinely boil the kettle (for a coffee/tea for yourself) as soon as you make the change and place the paci in another mug....it would be hard to loose them. Just be consistent and award yourself with the hot drink.

I would buy some of those strips of Velcro. You could put a square on the back of the pacifier and then put a strip in your diaper bag or wherever for them to stick to.

you gotta keep on your toes and keep track. I lose them all the time with my little one. Clips and ribbons are bad though, a baby can get strangled with them.

I bought them, at the peak of use, every few weeks.
