You may have herpes simplex on your lips and if it has been two weeks then it should be healing by now. Herpes simplex is a virus and it has a lifespan. of 7-14 days before it dies on its own. You said that it's been two weeks and according to you it has been bleeding. The bleeding may be caused by scratching or you may be biting it because it itches. Try not to touch it so that the scabs will fall off by itself. Sometimes when you accidentaly remove the scab and it bleeds you reinfect yourself and the virus start another lifespan. The best thing to do first is have it examinded by a doctor to confirm that it is a cold sore or in scientific terms is herpes simplex virus. The doctor may prescribe you with an antiviral like acyclovir or valacyclovir tablets and cream. You can also use Abreva cream which is sold over the counter. If it is painful you can also take pain relievers.
But the best you can do so you wont reinfect yourself is to make sure that you are fit, well nourished, get enough sleep and take your vitamins specially B complex and Vitamin C and Lysine. You need to enhance your immunity because Herpes simplex is a virus. If your immune system is low then it will reoccur unless your body can fight it. Another important thing is to wash your hands frequently and do not touch the blister because you could transfer the infection to other parts of your body specially your eyes. So be careful with it.
If it is possible go to the doctor just to be sure.
Good day!

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

When you go to bed at night put a coating of Neosporin on you lips, it has a pain reliever in it plus it is medicated and petroleum based. You lips won't dry out and keep cracking.
Try it for two or three nights and see if this will heal them. My other suggestion is Hydrogen peroxide. Blot it on you lips with a cotton ball to help promote healing.
This sounds like a vitamin deficiency. D I think.
Eat green veggies like green beans, or broccoli or spinach. I can correct dryness and cracking on my face by eating green veggies.
Good Luck.

You might need prescription strength cold sore treatment. Zovirax is one of the best prescriptions for this. If you can't get to a doctor or get a doctor to write you a prescription, use Abreva...it is going to take far longer to heal with Abreva than Zovirax, but it will get things moving in the right direction.

I would call a pharmacist and explain the situation & get some suggestions. I would even put carmex on at night before going to bed so it can work while you're sleeping. NOT BLISTEX

Don't panic, just go see your doctor and i'm sure they will be able to advise you accordingly, it may have just gotten alittle infected but I'd advise you to see your doc as they will be able to determine what is actually wrong and give you proper medication to help heal it. Be careful with trying out other creams as you may irritate it further, get expert advise first. Don't suffer in silence get help as soon as possible, hope you start to feel better soon.

Go to a sexual health clinic and get some tests. Sounds like you may have an infection, which can be treated after it has been identified.
