In the US it's traditionally the left.
In other countries (some East Asain ones, probably others) it is the right.

The wedding band always goes on the left hand on the ring finger. Now I have heard it's ok to move the engagement ring to your right hand until after the wedding band is on your left hand then put the engagement back on your left hand.

Your wedding band is worn on the left.
Perhaps you remember something about the right because many brides wear their engagement ring on their right hand ring finger during the ceremony so the wedding band can be put on your left finger. The wedding band is alway first on your left ring finger(closest to your heart) and your engagement ring is worn on top of the wedding band after the ceremony..

Traditionally it's the left hand. Supposedly there was a vein that ran all the way from the heart to the ring finger of the left hand, so that made it all the more romantic, etc - but that's just myth.

I know that in the Greek tradition, wedding rings are on the right hand but that is the only exception I know of. Most of the time it is the left hand, band on the bottom so as it's closest to your heart. That is tradition.

Depends ont he country. In the US its the left hand unless there is a good reason like a missing finger or you play an instrument where the ring would be in the way.

it goes on the left hand the 4th finger and the wedding ring goes on first and then the engagement ring goes on last , as it is said that the engagement ring protects the marriage with all the love from the engagement.
