This is a tough one to tackle considering how many different possibilities there are to perhaps finding an actual answer. However, the ones that I can come up with are kind of intertwined and could go hand and hand. We could look at it from the position of 'survival of the fittest' where one looks for the strongest mate because on some level that offers protection and here's a big one...lol...security**. Going for someone who is aggressive means that they might also be protected themselves and having that security provides them comfort. Okay, was going a little far out on that one but I think there's some merit to the idea. Another way of looking at it is that perhaps they are the only one's who will approach girls like that (just an idea). Possibly the girls are too young and naive to know what constitutes a good man for a relationship (I was married to a guy like this and have learned my lesson now that I am divorced at 23). I mean I see time and time again (and myself included) girls that go after the guy that doesn't throw himself at women bc he seems confident and secure with himself. However, some but not all guys like this are just like you said arrogant and self-centered and never give the woman what they deserve. Girls for some reason or another become dependent on trying to either change him or just try to get his love and affection that he offers only when it is convienent for him. Then you hear the girls complain about how bad their relationship is but rather then leave, they continue to put up with the bs because they probably are either scared to go (for whatever reasoning that might be),have low self-esteem and kind of are dependent on the guy bc he doesnt, or they are not willing to give up on something they invested so much time into. This is not to say that every girl stays (bc I put up with a lot bs for a long time and did finally leave) but many do because of the dependency of being with someone like that and the possible hope that they will change. Perhaps there are girls who are superficial enough to go after a guy bc of how he dresses and what assets he has, but I think that is generalizing women a little too much just like saying that every thug is an arrogant asshole. I write this whole response on the basis of the bad boy whether they dress like a thug or not. My ex idolized friggin Tony Montana for god's sake and has told me that he could sell water to a whale so I know a thing or two about the whole arrogant wannabe thug type...lol...In my instance, I was first attracted to him because I thought that he was secure and confident but not to the point where he would care what anyone else thought. The thing is he did and he was always trying to prove himself and was just completely self-centered. He cheated on me several times and was verbally and physically abusive. I put up with it mainly because I became dependent on him and he took advantage of that and convinced me that I could never leave. I invested so much into the relationship hoping that he would change but he never did and the last straw was when I found a hickey on his necka and a note from a girl in his wallet. He tried to reconcile claiming that he would change but thank god I didnt and proceeded with the divorce because he is now seeing some other girl and trying to get with me still...I guess once a cheater is always a cheater. Now I still want a man that is confident and secure with himself bc some of the nice guys I have dated are a little too clingy and just needy but that does not mean that I have lost hope that there is a guy who is good that also has confidence and other traits that I have admired in the bad boy. Ok I guess I said a mouthful, and I hope this helps:)

Umm...you are a bit jealous whether you like to admit or not. Go back and read your own question!
I do not mean to insult. I am here to help! The difference between you and the thug is not only in the way you act. The thug is a thug because he knows what he wants. It's not just a matter of confidence. He is a man! He takes no crap from anyone! He does what he wants, and no woman is going to run his life! Women find this kind of 'I don't need you to survive' confidence incredibly attractive.
Instead, a NICE guy would be sappy. He does not know what he wants oftentimes. Instead, he would settle for whatever he can get. Have you ever turned down a woman? They turn down us, but I have a feeling you have never turned down a woman! These thugs have, and as a result, girls know they have to work hard to get them. On the other hand, the nice guy accepts anything and as a result girls walk all over the guy and leave him.
I am not saying you are the nice guy, but you have to learn to become more of a challenge to and make her desire you in order to get a girl. Show girls your loving and sexual side. DO NOT SUPRESS IT!!! Before long they will be all over you. After all, I used to be in your situation, and now I can choose also and not be the idiot 4X4 guy!

If those women are anything like me, they wanted to be with him for his looks (thuggish) but if he was really a thug, then they are probably trying to find a way to escape! Yes, I said escape! After being with these men for so long, you begin to realize that the excitement didn't last as long as you thought it would. There is nothing attractive about a grown *** thug ( that doesn't know when to leave his thug attire in the closet and put on some real clothes) If you have stayed around long enough for him to develop feelings for you, then the only way you are going to end it is to escape:)

first of all not all people with 4x4's are "aggressive thugs." that's probably one of the most ridiculous generalized statements i've ever heard. second 4x4's are just hot, much hotter than some punk in a 4 banger, ya know. i drive a 4x4 and i'm a girl, and i don't consider myself a bully OR a thug, i just don't like being in a little car. did some hot boy in a 4x4 steal your girl or something?

I think it goes like this.
Woman sees bad man. She finds him sexy, he does his own thing and doesn't answer to nobody, people respect him because he don't give a sh&t what people think. He has got a few faults i.e drinking, fighting but she is sure she can change that side of him.
Woman gets into relationship which goes well at first and is exciting.
Mans cheats, goes out all the time, takes the p%ss.
Woman is trapped. Ends up being housewife to a sexist pig, getting beaten or clearing up his beer cans all the time.

girls always find a bad guy attractive! arrogant confidence can be a good thing and yeah it is a turn on.
However long term its not really what the girl wants, then some may not be able to leave coz they are scared of them.

Muscles and a strong personality appeals to the instinctive nature of a woman it indicates on a basic level that this is a good mate, but that only applies to women who let their basic instincts guide them.
the modern woman has long since discovered that a good mate doesn't necessarily come all in muscle and grunts.

Why women love the bad boys is one of the oldest questions around. It sucks, but I can't explain it.
I take pride in trying to be a decent human being, but I do sometimes wonder if I'd be better off being a dumbass macho jerk.

All wheel force is the place all of the wheels force the automobile in any respect cases, 4wd is the comparable element, yet with 4wd there's a swap to alter it to 2 wheel force and force witht he rear wheels in basic terms. there's a huge distinction in the two structures eventhough there do not sound like they are that diverse. 4wd structures may be pushed with 4 wheels driving the automobile or 2 wheels driving the automobile, all wheel force is the place all 4 wheels force the automobile all of the time.
