first off you NEED to tell him in person not on the phone tell him how you feel and that he's not the one for you. tell him that its you and not him! good luck!

Any how you take it he will end up getting hurt. If he is able to talk you out of it it means that you really do not want to do it.
Just tell him that you think it is best for the two of you to remain friends. If he ask why, tell him that you are flustered, you have alot going on in your life right now and you do not want for him to get hurt. Tell him you just need alot of time alone.

If it is truly not working and you are unhappy, then you must tell him so...
You do not owe anybody your life and time..
You make your own decisions in your life, you shouldn't be swayed by someon else's opinion.........
Fear can prevent us from doing what is necessary in life..but remember you must overcome the fears, so that you can get on with your life.... Be honest.. be kind.. be firm....

well i have been there and i feel your pain... just think of it as you are breaking up wit ur self and think how you would want someone to tell you its over. be careful wit his feelings and remember he has thoughts and feelings. remind him ya can always be friends and you're there if he needs you but you don't feel da same anymore.
