Actually my grandmother was in one of the concentration camps in Poland at twelve years old, she did survive, and went on to assist the American allies in the O.S. (precursor to CIA) by translating. She is gone now, but we were close and talked about alot of what happened while she was there.

My late grandfather always used to tell me stories. I remember it like it was yesterday. He was an engineer in the army. It made me sad to hear the stories but it made me proud to know that he stood up for his country and put his life on the line.
