What type of converter do I need to purchase to use in Italy so I can use my iron, phone charger, etc

2 round pin, standard European continental fitting. Outlets supply 220v AC so if you are coming from a 110v area like north america you will need a transformer or your devices will fry.

There are small converters for small appliances that you could purchase for a small price. It plugs in directly to European outlets.
and convert the 220 to standard US 110.

You to buy a transformer from 220 to 110 50 to 60 Hrtz because if you dont then it could run slow or wont heat up because of the megia hertzs.

You need one that converst from 220v to 110v. You can buy them almost anywhere. radio shack or any other electronic store will sell it.
