I like Graybeard ; Ladygrey for the fml. Check first with the Dog catcher. Here in Clinton,Ok Peter HATES putting down any animal just because no-one wants it. Take a friend with you to keep you honest or you'll take them ALL.LUCK.

Since you're looking for one with blue eyes, Topaz would be cute. Dusty would probably also be a cute name since you want a gray one. Personally, I would say to try holding out naming it right away and see its personality when you bring it home.
Petfinder.org is a great site (it's how I found my new pup) it's probably the most comprehensive. In my search, I had also come across the site pets911.com which basically just lists shelters in your area once you enter your zip code.
I strongly advocate adoption and while there's nothing cheaper than free, most of these shelters require you to pay little to nothing and the pets come with their preliminary shots and such. Regardless, you'll love your new kitten. Good Luck!

Try your local animal shelter or even PetSmart..they offer kittens for adoption sometimes. Topaz wouldn't fit for a gray cat. Tootsie is good..I like that.

I like the name Topaz. :-) But you should wait till you get the kitten, because sometimes the individual personality will inspire you.
The best place to get a kitten is at the humane society or shelter. There are so many kitties waiting to be adopted and you may just save a little life. There are 10 Million cats & dogs euthanized every year because they can't find a home. :-(
And please, spay or neuter him or her.

Hey there!
Just to let you know that I have an all grey cat, but his eyes are green. Don't know if you can find their eyes in blue. He is a russian blue, just so you know. Please try your local animal shelter. People usually bring litters of unwanted kittens there and it's probably cheaper than a pet store. My cat came from the local SPCA and it cost me 80 and that included his neutering when it was time for it. By the way, I like the name baby, because one of my cats names is Baby Girl....

towards to my experience, having three cats in my lifetime, first one was an orange cat but have tiger markers therefore Tiger was his name.
When my friend had kittens, the first kitten looks exactly like its father so his name was Licky Junior,
Once Licky Junior has accidently bred first set of kittens with his sister Tabby at my friend's house before I took Licky Junior home, the first baby kitten looks exactly like Chimpunk and I ended up adopting Chipmunk and his name has stuck ever since.
I think your grey kitten with blue eyes would be difficult to find, and please adopt a kitten before 14 weeks old, ideally about 7 weeks because that way you can have him bathed and socially interact with him/her. and if you bath your kitten at early age and he/she will get used to it and will not give you any problems when the kitten gets older.

ive never tried this but i think it would be a good way to get free kittens;
most people after there cat has about 12 kittens want to give them away.so just make some flyers asking if anyone knows anyone wanting to give away kittens.pass about 200 of them out to people at a supermarket,with your phone #.u should have a few people calling.

I HAVE HAD OVER 100 CATS IN MY LIFE.
right now i own a full grown cat named LUNA and her kittten turtle (my sister named her)
luna is a white and gray cat with green eyes her kitten(turtle) is gray with blue eyes.
shes a kitten.
i think tootsie is a cute name.
i had a cat named IRENE, SHAMPOO, Frosty, and another one named VEnus, the rest i dont really recall :)

There are lots of kittens that need to be adopted thru your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter. The name is up to you !
