Its not from smoking NORMAL cigarettes. Most likely you could have a problem with your eyes or, could be a sign of early migraine headaches. Many migraine sufferers see brilliant colors and lightning bolts.

In either case, go see your regular doctor and get checked out. As for smoking, I did for 16 years and wish I had been smart enough to stop a very long time ago.

Well, I really don't think it has anything to do with your smoking at all, but no one is going to tell you that, because they want you to quit smoking. Lights in vision are usually a sign of pulling on the retina, what you should do is see an eye doctor, they will do a screening and tell you if there's something that needs to be treated, but really.. nothing to do with smoking.

It has nothing to do with you smoking. Smoking doesn't make you see lights, you're not going to die from smoking for only five years, and it's not a 'sign'.

You seeing lights could have been a million things. You could have had a bad headache, you could have just looked at a bright light, you could have been dizzy from something.

Depends how you see it, menthols and lights are two totally different levels and kinds of tobacco. It took you a long time to learn how to smoke, and it'll take a long time to loearn not to. Try excersizing, and running. It's how my boyfriends quitting, and it's working.
