We will probably be having 3 or 4 king cakes so people can pick flavors, and we were thinkin it would be fun to give a prize to the baby-finders, but it needs to be really inexpensive, like no more than 10 bux, snce we will have to buy several. We were thinkin something funny-like a gag gift, not cheesy or sentimental, we are not really having a gushy wedding, its more fun-funky formal. nothing with our names and dates engraved or anything like that! Something mardi gras would be kewl, it doesn't have to be tho.....but it would need to be appropriate for men women, kids and adults......Any suggestions?

How about a cup (or wine glass maybe) full of cool looking beads? I always thought the baby was the prize! It is supposed to mean blessings/good luck for you in the coming year... I thought?

What a neat idea! But where are you getting King cakes this time of year? If you are from the New Orleans area...try giving a gift certificate to local stores or even giving a bag of Mardi Gras favors..i.e. beads, dabloons, etc. Patry Time stores ought to carry something like that.

depending on where you live why not just a gift card to a local restaurant that celebrates Mardi Gras??? It's not a gag gift but practical.

A decent bottle of wine can be found for around $10. Gift cards to a restaurant would be nice. If you want really funky, try a lava lamp.
