I was raised in a Christian (anabaptist) home. So I didn't have to look very far for my beliefs. I do read the bible a lot though and I am even more conservative then what I was raised.

God bless

I was a spiritual seeker for my entire life and visiting churches was my idea of fun. While I was chronically ill in 1999 I spent a lot of time on the computer. At a low point one day I surfed across a Buddhist site. It was a life preserver thrown to me. Now I am happy and healthy. The mind affects the body quite a bit.

So Buddhism found me.

I did look and try several different churches and had never found anything that I felt comfortable with. i had stopped looking for any religion a few years later. Then my faith kind of fell into my life - I met a wonderful family who introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was over whelmed with feelings that basically told me that this was the truth.

Hope this was what you were looking for.

I went from atheist to agnostic to seeker. I tried many religions durring my hippie years. The Holy Spirit would not let me commit myself to witchcraft (I was a dabbler at the time) and after reading the bible for a time and visiting many different congregations, God touched my life and I was born again.

3) It found me. I was an atheist dating a Christian. I went to church to "make her happy" and ended up making myself happier than I've ever been.

Jesus was a rebel.

I was raised Asatru and I still am Asatru. However, I did study many other religions and I still do. I believe all the world religions have something to teach us and should be examined at least once in your lifetime. You'll never make it through them all, but at least you'll be well educated and very spiritually aware.

Or in the immortal words of one of my friends "I'm not taking any chances. I'm joining them all."
