If the muscle is hot, then it's inflamed. Use a cold pack for about 15 minutes at a time and take some ibobrufen. But you are going to have to rest it at some stage ...

Since you can't rest and let the muscle pull heal, use a tension bandage to keep it from further injury. Make sure you do not over tighten it though.

you have to rest it if you want it better by Friday. No choice plus the chance of it getter completely better by friday are slim. It normally takes longer than 2 days.

Do some light stretching throughout the day. Stretch just until you feel the pull, don't push until you feel the pain.
