I've have observed that things we do not want to do start falling us down, why?

Because religion sets up impossible rules to create demand for its solution.

Sin is defined by religion as a list of things that are wrong to do. That list is rigid and impossible for any person to adhere to. This sets up guilt in people for, basically, being human. Then the religion offers a way to be "saved" from that "sin" that it defined.

They even describe sin as a kind of substance that you get contaminated with. They talk about how "sin" is passed down through the fathers so that even if you lived a perfect life (whatever that means), you would still be contaminated by sin.

It's a great marketing ploy. I'm glad I've broken away from this outdated and harmful concept.

Please what ever you do don't listen to what the person before had to say. That is so not right. We have to understand that we are 2/3 flesh and 1/3 Sprite. We love to feed our flesh. We will do what ever to make it look good, feel good. We feed it, we dress it, we do what ever we want and 9 times out of 10 we commit sin with our bodies (flesh). But how often do we feed our spirt man? How often do we pray, study our bible. If we feed our inter man like we feed our outer man we would be more acceptable not to commit sin. We will not want to be apart of sin and you will separate yourself from sin. Hope this helps.

Read Romans 7:15-22. We commit sin cause the world is pleaseing to the flesh and our flesh is weak. We are not perfect yet and oh how I wished we was. I am tired of my flesh and tired of being out of fellowship with God and Jesus. I let myself go from God and Jesus because I didnt pray, and read the word of God. Eph 6 is a good book to do each day.

I don't understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do the very thing I hate.
I know perfectly well that what I am doing is wrong, and my bad conscience shows that I agree that the law is good. But I can't help myself, because it is sin inside me that makes me do these evil things.
I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn, I can't make myself do right. I want to, but I can't. When I want to do good, I don't. And when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway. But if I am doing what I don't want to do, I am not really the one doing it; the sin within me is doing it.

It seems to be a fact of life that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God's law with all my heart. But there is another law at work within me that is at war with my mind. This law wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.

Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin?
Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
Romans 7:15-25

it is genitic of sorts. we are flesh and cannot help it. even the greatest apostle of all times struggled with sin.

Romans 7:14-21
14 ¶ For we are conscious that the law is of the spirit; but I am of the flesh, given into the power of sin.
15 And I have no clear knowledge of what I am doing, for that which I have a mind to do, I do not, but what I have hate for, that I do.
16 But, if I do that which I have no mind to do, I am in agreement with the law that the law is good.
17 So it is no longer I who do it, but the sin living in me.
18 For I am conscious that in me, that is, in my flesh, there is nothing good: I have the mind but not the power to do what is right.
19 For the good which I have a mind to do, I do not: but the evil which I have no mind to do, that I do.
20 But if I do what I have no mind to do, it is no longer I who do it, but the sin living in me.
21 So I see a law that, though I have a mind to do good, evil is present in me.

Because the sins of the fathers, have been passed down to their children. And it all started with the first sin from Adam and Eve.

It is impossible not to. We are born with the sin nature. It is embedded in us passed down to us by our ancestor, Adam.

The law of cause and effect is the bridge we must cross to rise in spiritual awareness from Ignorance of GOD (atheism)through the LAW into GRACE(GOD IN US) (UNCONDITIONAL LOVE IN US) When your past negative actions create severe conditions in your life, sooner or later you will realize "I CAN'T RUN MY LIFE WITHOUT MESSING IT UP" when you accknowledge this and turn to GOD,with contrite heart,he will send you a teacher to show you how to live by the GRACE OF GOD. be alert the teacher may not be what you expect but you will know GOD sent him or HER.

Depends what you define a sin.
I notice many thumbs down from religious people. Why can't they accept our views?
