You need to keep your personal papers and mail from getting into their hands. Get a p.o. box or a locking mail box and you keep the key. As the owner, they cannot secure a loan against your property because of the title records. As far as credit, anyone can use your name and address, so if you get something to your name, open it and make sure it wasn't an application to you and then destroy it. In this day of personal identity theft, you need to take precaustions if you have someone live with you, really check them out and even then, lock up important papers and documents like your social security number and credit card information.

I take you have a contract agreement or a lease agreement?
Then at the end of that agreement / lease you simply do not renew it....Give him a months notice before the agreement/lease is up and there should be no problems...If he refuses to go phone the police and have him put out...

You cannot stop someone from doing this. Luckily, just by using your address there will never be any obligation for you to pay thier bills/loans etc.

If someone is living at your house, then their mailing address is your mailing address. They can apply for anything they want IN THEIR NAME with your address. It does not adversely effect your credit.
