I grew up being overprotected, spoiled, and left alone. I thought that was love. Until that incident happened. These past six years, starting from when I was twelve,My father tried to kill me numerous times.

Love is a two part emotion. The primary part is that it is an instinctive attractive response regulated by the medulla oblongota. This instinctive response is a component of the altruistic urge. The secondary part is the conscious awareness of this instinct as interpreted by our prior experiences.
Ultimately, to paraphrase the writers of Star Trek: the Next Generation (who's quote is biochemically accurate) -- Love is nothing but the chemical equivalent of eating large amounts of chocolate.

Love to a human is when u rather yourself to be harm to protect the one u love.
Love to God means u will praise and glorify Him regularly and shall obey all His law and command.

love is when you cant live w/ out that person in your life. they are the last thing you think of before you fall asleep and they are the first thing you think of when you wake up, love makes your life enjoyable. it is fulfillment and happiness to your life. love brings light upon your life
