this is an old, on-going story. The B'nai Menashe are a group of people living in India who claim to be descended from the half-tribe of Menashe. They follow many Jewish customs and have done so as far back as anyone can determine.
Their situation was brought before leading Rabbis in Israel to investigate their claims. The conclusion was that there is good reason to accept their claims, in part. However, since they lost knowledge of much of Jewish Law, the Rabbis felt it necessary that they go through a conversion process to be considered fully Jewish. This is because of the likelihood (as expressed among the Bnai Menashe themselves) that they married women outside the community who were not properly converted to Judaism.
If their claims are, in fact, true then it is part of the fulfillment of the end days prophesy of the in-gathering of exiles...even, and especially, from the Lost Tribes.

Every educated person knows how christianity and Islam has spread.
Just answer me this there is absolutely no threat in India if you want to convert then why 300 million solid rich and middle class hindus
in India not converted to christianity or islam or judaism when they have all knowledge to it?
And why 550 Million Hindus who are lower middle class and poor
not flocking in huge nos to these religions.
% of christians in India is 2% and is not growing at any rate.
Muslim families in India are producing 5 Kids per family as shown by many surveys.
Muslims were 15 % of Indias population .
For converting in India a legal formality is you have to sign a few things, if hindus wanted to convert than they would have converted in the 800 year muslim domination in India or 180 year British domination of India or after that.
