He's a Husky, 2 1/2 yrs old, gets plenty of excercise so don't give me some lame answer that he's bored. He'll yawn 2-3x every minute he's awake all day for no reason other than maybe a medical condition. 3x per minute X 60 min per hour = 180x per hour. Everytime you look at him he seems to be yawning! Is it an anxiety thing? Is it some asthema condition? The vet didn't know other than "we can run a blood test for $70" was his response. Any logical ideas ?

yawning is the bodys way of getting more oxegen to the body. maybe hes not getting enough air to his body/brain

Yawning is a common stress signal. Have you ever noticed dogs in obedience training when their owners are expecting a lot of them, at dog shows, at the veterinarian, or when their owners are disciplining them. it is part of thier body lanuage

Perhaps he's got a problem with his ears and yawning unblocks them? A bit like when yr on a plane?

You have nothing better to do than count how many times a day your dog yawns????? Animals yawn and so do people, sheesh move on!!!

Yawning for dogs is a sign they're nervous. But what you describe is too much.

He's a big dog needs more oxygen when up an moving around pulls it in that way.
