The closer the lights get, the double glare goes away. There are no obvious flaws in the windshield. Glass techs and Nissan folks I talk to, don't have a clue. It's not my vision, I don't have this problem with other vehicles. When looking thorugh the top or bottom 1/4 of the windshield, it goes away. My theories, it could have something to do with the curve or slant of the windshield, but that would be a design flaw and it seems that would have attracted wider known attention by now. I may go ahead and replace the windshield, but I would be really aggravated if that didn't cure the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I was going to tell you to stop drinking and driving,... However I think you're right about the curve. Windshields are three layers sandwiched together and somehow your windshield has come delaminated or never was. Before you go buy a new one, go test drive a Nissan frontier at night.

I used to close one eye when drinking! I am a Nissan Master Technician and will drive a new truck and see if I can duplicate the problem you state. In Texas no one here At Thornhill Nissan has complaned about double vision at night And tomorrow at work I will check for technical bullitens for you.

try cleaning the inside of the window. when the inside of my window is dirty, (from cigarette smoke), i get the same effect!
