Why not cover them with something beautiful?

You could have them removed by laser treatment, but this is extremely expensive and can be painful. In addition it often leaves scars on the skin where the lasers have been.
The best way is to have cover-up work done. A good tattoo artist will be able to advise you on the best type, colour and size of tattoos to effectively cover and totally hide the old design.
The only surefire way of not having a bad tattoo is to think very carefully about what you want before you have it done. Once it's on it's on for life. Many people regret them because they just did it for a laugh or had something on a whim, or went to an unreputable tattooist. Always choose a reputable artist and look at work he or she has previously done. They may charge more, but you'll be far more pleased with a quality piece of work in the long run, than one which was poorly drawn.

Good question! I have a bad one that I really want to get rid of. I've just heard of a removal method called 'e'rase' its where they tattoo a certain type of ink into your skin and gradually the tattoo fades. I don't know a great deal about it though so look it up on the internet. Just type in e-rase on the search engine.

Laser treatment is an option but it can be expensive and leaves scars ur other option would be to have them covered over with new tattoos but the trouble with that is it has to be something that will cover over the old tattoo with ease. My best advice is if u decide on any more tattoos make sure it is something u will be able to live with for the rest of ur life. x

I know some people have already said this but I'm going to say it again any way. Get it covered up with something bigger and better. A lot of tattoo artists are used to doing cover up work. Just do some research. Good luck.

You can get laser etc, I was thinking about it (still am now and again) but they state in their literature that the red and black ink are the best colours to get rid off. Colours such as green, orange and yellow can be tricky and as a result you can be left with a very faded outline if these colours have been used.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I just heard about this website. It fades your tattoo away. It's not gone as fast as say surgery and will take a couple months depending on the type of tattoo but it works. And is much less painful!

You need laser treatment which is a nightmare. Expensive and painful.

Never get a tattoo unless you are 100% certain you will want it the rest of your life.

don't bother with laser very expensive and after 16 sessions i still have mine,I'm now using glycolic acid 50% i bought off eBay,i used my tattoo gun to tattoo it into my skin,it burnt like hell but my tats are now defo fading,if you don't have a tat machine just score the skin slightly with a disinfected needle or something. Then use a cotton bud and rub over the skin and use diluted bicarbonate of soda to wash off the acid.

laser removal...more painful than getting a tattoo, possiblity of bad scarring, multiple treatments MAY be required and VERY expensive.

cover-up tattoo...less expensive, can be pretty easy to do depending and it's just putting a tattoo over another one.
