Jesus lived a holy uncompromising life. The words he spoke were sometimes hard for people to hear. But this did not deter him from speaking them just the same. There are some amazing accounts of supernatural wisdom that came to him while being tested by his enemies. i.e. Render to Caesar the things that are Caesars and Render to God the things that are God's. And when they were trying to stone a woman caught in adultery his advice was he who is without sin cast the first stone. He demonstrated the merciful side of God and wasn't afraid to put his life on the line. I think some of his sayings are a bit tough at times but believe him just the same. Regards

We are not god, we are humans with a sinful nature inherited from our ancestors Adam and Eve. This is a blessed time for you because you want the truth that can only come from God. No matter how "good" we are we cannot get through this life, or get to heaven without Jesus.

Close but I think you've got a small misconception. Jesus didn't teach us like a God but simply how to live FOR God. Living like you're got is humanism and is a separate religion entirely.

If you'd like to know more about Christ, read the Bible. I suggest starting with the book of John and reading from there. It's the clearest and easiest to understand.

Pelagius was the first to propose that Jesus was not sent to atone for sins, but simply to show us how live a godly life as a teacher of righteousness. His views were declared heresy, and Augustine's notions of original sin prevailed. If Pelagius had Augustine's mastery of political intrigue, Christianity would have been far different today.

You need to read the holy bible to back up your claims.

The Father loves me because I lay down my life that I may have it back again. No one can take my life from me. I lay down my life voluntarily. For I have the right to lay it down when I want to and also the power to take it again. For my Father has given me this command.
When he said these things, the people were again divided in their opinions about him. Some of them said, "He has a demon, or he's crazy. Why listen to a man like that?" Others said, "This doesn't sound like a man possessed by a demon! Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?"
It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah. He was at the Temple, walking through the section known as Solomon's Colonnade.
The Jewish leaders surrounded him and asked, "How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly."
Jesus replied, "I have already told you, and you don't believe me. The proof is what I do in the name of my Father.
But you don't believe me because you are not part of my flock. My sheep recognize my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. So no one can take them from me.
The Father and I are one."
John 10:17-30

From what I've heard Jesus was a pretty nice guy. So yeah, it'd be great if everyone followed his example in terms of treating people fairly and loving thy neighbour and all that.
