Marseilles is a city of France and mercredi is a French term equivalent to Wednesday in English.
We know that Manchester is a city of England, which language is English so such day will be Wednesday according to the standard English, " Wednes dei "according to Middle English, "Wodnes dæg" according to Old English. According to English language idiom, it is "hump day" and unofficially referred to as "the peak of the week". For members of The Religious Society of Friends (commonly known as Quakers) it is referred as "Fourth Day". (Looking at the timezones, France got just 1 hour more than the Britain;thus they would not differ on the day except after midnight.)
In addition, Wednesday in Romance languages is derived from the name of the Roman god Mercury translated as follows: mercredi (French), mercoledì (Italian), miércoles (Spanish), miercuri (Romanian), dimecres (Catalan), dies Mercurii (Latin). Similarly, the Indian name for Wednesday, Budhvar is derived from the Vedic name for Mercury, Budh.
The German name for Wednesday was formerly Wodanstag which was changed to Mittwoch (literally: "mid-week"). The Finnish name is Keskiviikko (literally: "center of the week") and the Icelandic name is Miðvikudags ("Mid-week day").♥

Liverpool definately. You can go to the Beatles Museum, the Albert Dock with the Maritime Museum and Slavery Museum. Several different types of Beatles tours. There is also The Liverpool Tate Gallery. This is all within walking distance of the main train station Lime Street. They also have tours of Anfield, if you are into football. I have been to both Liverpool and Manchester several times, and Liverpool has it all over Manchester. Just like it did on the weekend 3-1 3-1 3-1 (that the football again) I have an unbiased opinion, I am Australian.

I do not know anything about Marseilles. If it is mercredi in Marseille though, it is Wednesday in Manchester.

In French, no capital letter for days of the week (unless you start the sentence with it), unlike in English
