Easy, almost any speech by Abraham Lincoln but in particular the Gettysburg address which was read at the site of the world trade center at the 1 year anniversary of 9-11, and that speech applied there just as well as it did over a 140 years ago. You really have to listen to every word of the speech because they all have a purpose each sentance carried a great message. The speech was a treatise on democratic rule of common people by common people.
Martin Luther Kings speech in 63 at the rally in Wash DC is also very powerful

In the book, The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand, there is a character named Rourke, (based on the famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright). There is a scene where Rourke is giving testimony and this speech/ monologue is perhaps the most powerful I have ever heard, or read. There is a movie made from the book, also named The Fountainhead.

Voilà ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

The best speech I ever heard were the vows my husband spoke on our wedding day.
We had not planned on doing that, and I was shocked.
He even included my child, saying I will treat her as my own.
Nothing could top that :)
