I don't think anything (food related) is BAD for you - if done in moderation.
My grandparents ate bacon, eggs and buttermilk biscuits (loaded with real butter) every morning for breakfast.
Some kind of heavy starch and beef for lunch and dinner.
Every day for their entire lives. They both lived well into their 80's. The difference between them and most people today is that they actually got out and worked the farm 7 days a week.
Some will tell you that anything deep-fried is bad, but when done correctly, deep-frying is actually pretty healthy. If the oil is hot enough then there is an almost instant barrier between the food and the fat.
Eat what you want, but do so in moderation and get some exercise and you will be fine.

i think that is an easy misconception. if you were to forget about whether things were good or bad for you and just thought about what you like to eat, you'd probably be amazed how many things you love to eat that are actually perfect for you.
for example, loads of people love bananas, zinging with potassium, tryptophan (helps seratonin), low fat, stabilises blood sugar, fills you up, non processed, no artificial additives, and if you buy fair trade - helping the third world too!
some things are not so good for you, that's true, but they're only "bad" if you have too much, and/or you don't have any good stuff as well. a little bit of what you fancy does you the power of good, even if it's a bit of chocolate, a bit of pizza or a bit of a fry up now and then.
as long as we follow the general health guidelines of trying for 5 portions of fruit and veg a day, keeping our salt, fat and sugar generally down, drinking plenty water, the basics, the odd indulgence is not going to be so bad for us. In fact it's the icing on the cake!
