You should tell your man that you don't want to raise him -- because he's selfish and immature.

If you aren't completely in love with this man than just walk away. That's a lot of headache for something that just isn't worth it. If you do love him, however, than you need to talk to him openly. Communication is the only key to a working relationship. Sit him down and tell him about your friendship with this guy. Tell him that though he is your best friend you have no desire to ever make it anything else. And also let him know that your friend feels the same way about you. You're more like brother and sister... And tell him that you don't mind it if he hangs out with his ex because you are secure in your relationship with him and that he should feel the same way. If he doesn't feel the same way that you need to ask him why and not get defensive when he tells you. Just deal with what is said and try and fix it together. The mother issue is something else entirely. After you finish talking openly about the friends then tell him that you'd like to always be able to speak openly about problems that arise in the future. Tell him you'd also like to keep it between the two of you only. If the mother thing happens again then just tell her she needs to take it up with your man not with you. Its your man's job to put her in her place, not yours.

OMG I know how you feel, Tell him to go **** himeself cuz the guy that I am with tryed to do that and, as much as I love him that is what I told him, Also if there is no trust there is no relationship. Dont let a guy try and tell you what to do. You do what you want and, if you loose him, Brush your shoulders off he will relize what he lost.

Well. Your boyfriend is a hypracrite, for one. If any of the guys I was involved with wasn't okay with my guys friends, they weren't okay with me. If you're able to handle his friends that are girls, you need make him aware it's his turn to do the same for you. As for his mom, screw her. :] Talk to him, it's between the two of you and she means nothing.
