yes I would let my mother live with me when she gets older.. As long as I got her social security check each month.. I would expect her to cook and clean.

Why wouldn't you let your mother live with you... she's your mother. Unless you didn't grow up in her house... she allowed you to live with her for a lot of years. And the only thing i would expect from my mother living with me is to keep the home tidy, if she can afford it... help contribute to some of the bills and expenses but if it's not in her budget then that's ok... she's your mother... she gave you life... what more could you expect out of her?

Yes, definitely. I expect her to feel at home and relaxed but not to nag too much. I expect her to shower regularly and keep clean and keep her room clean. I expect her not to disturb me while I sleep and to let me know whatever it is she needs and not be shy to ask for it. I expect her to exercise enough to stay healty and to have a healthy diet. I expect her not to be moody.

Yes I would...and it truly depends on the situation that is causing her to need to live with you. Can she contribute financially, or if she is not able can she help with the housekeeping, ccoking and such? Or is it a medical reason and maybe you just need to help her without expecting anything, the same she did for you all those years.

Yes. What I would expect of her depends on her age and health. Probably wouldn't expect anything.

Of course, without hesitation. She is the reason for your existence, mind you. I wouldn't expect anything from her, except to not try to tell me how to run my household. As mom, she would already probably cook and help with cleaning. I definitely wouldn't ask her for money for bills.

My grandmother lived with us for a while. When i was little and she was still healthy she took care of my and my sister and she did the laundry. After that she didn't do much because we didn't want her to get hurt. If she feels like doing something let her do it.
