how can you confuse love with being needy.. does that make sence maybe it does but how?

Because some people don't understand what love is all about. Possibly no one has really told them and they have not experienced real love. They think that the funny feeling in their stomach is love and that's what they like. Once that funny feeling in their stomach goes away, they think they have fallen out of love and they move on. You're on the right track...keep mentally questioning people motives to say "i love you" too quickly.

Love is different than the inner longing for a companion. Some people are enchanted with the idea of love, and fail to really get to know the other person truly, to understand their values and motives, and strengths and weaknesses. Love means accepting all those, and not wanting to change the other person.
Love is much deeper and more abiding than lust, or just "couplehood".
Desperation is a bad perfume.
People who enter into a relationship and want to smother the other person with their attentions and expect the same are rarely successful. One must put a lot of time and energy into forming your own person before you have anything worthy of another's true and deep love.

it does because someone who is needy is lonely and will just take anyone who comes on their way to overcome the loneliness but if you are not lonely and you are in Love you will consider a person of your dreams.

Love is completly trusting a person, yes it may hurt to be apart. but even if your in love you need alone time
Needy is when you have to be with that person all the time and you constantly demand there attention...hope this made sense
