My friend i was talking bout yesterday swallowed 11 pills of tylenol soo We took her to the hospital and they did blood tests shes scared cause she doesnt want her mother 2find out Will the blood tests show??Or it wil be okay???

Most likely, it will show, but even if it doesn't the doctors will tell her mom, if she's underage.

It will show only if the hospital tests for that substance. A typical drug test will only show illegal drugs. Unless the doctors had reason to test for more specific drugs it will probably not show up. However why did you friend take 11 pills? Maybe her mother needs to be involved!!!!!

Its a cry for help. Her mother needs to know and if your any kind of friend you would make her understand that your only telling her mother because you care for her. Good-Luck. And Yes, it will show up on a blood test. Why do you think they want to do one.

The blood test will show all drugs she has taken, it can tell if she is pregnant. Blood tests tell everything. If she hasn't done anything wrong then all should be ok. Good Luck

uhm... i am pretty sure that it will be okay but in real life you are not surpose to take more than 3 different pills a day. dont take my word but she might be okay. if she took it all at once then it is a possiblity that she wont be okay but if she took it one by one not to fast then she will be okay. but i hope that she is okay. i dont think that they need blodd testes what does this have to do with blood tests?

blood test will show the tylenol IF that is what they are screening for. Most likely they will screen for that if that is what the doc instructs them to look for.

Acetaminophen in large doses causes liver damage. She should have follow up liver function tests.

I would be more worried about her liver than her mother finding out! She could have done permanent damage to her body!
She need more help than you and her mom can giver her!
