It is very, very rude. I'm sorry to hear about that! Since your mother is ignoring your point-blank "your dog has fleas and leaves them at our house" attempt of getting through to her on this issue, may I suggest an even more firm way of dealing? The next time she brings the dog, remind her again that the dog has left fleas behind in the past. If she ignores you or disagrees, say nothing ... and then send her the bill later for having your house cleaned (or whatever one does to rid their house of fleas, I'm not too sure) with a note that says, "As per our conversation about Fido's fleas..." Hopefully she'll get the message. If not, the next time she shows up at your house, tell her she needs to leave the dog tied up outside.

Animals are like children, people...you love them and you are proud of them, but not everyone wants them in their house!

I do not think anyone should take their dog to someones house without asking. I have a dog, however, would not just assume it is ok to take into others homes. That is very rude. I do not like when people bring a dog to my house unless they ask before time and I will give an answer. God bless.

If the dog has fleas you should recommend her to take the dog to the vet to get treatment. The vet will most probably recommend Program for killing flea and their eggs. She should be a responsible pet owner.

because i have dogs, i would say that its really rude. my dogs dont appreciate other dogs coming into their territory.

not only can my dogs get fleas of their own, they dont have to get fleas from other dogs.

i dont take my dog anywhere unless i know that they dont have dogs and love my dog to visit.

Yes, it IS rude. My brother does it everytime he comes over here. He doesnt even ask if its ok with us. We even make comments about it, but hes too dumb to catch on. I guess we're gonna have to flat out tell him to LEAVE THE DAMN DOG at home.

I think it is very rude especially if you have told that person not to bring their dog? if you haven't told them I'm sure they think you have no problem with it, therefore they are not being rude.

i think it is disrespectful of your home if she has been told before that her dog has fleas and thta after your home is full of them i think you should tell her that you would appreciate it if she respects you and your home to leave her pooch at home
