if you wanna know why that happens...
well let me tell you that happens when some program/software that
you're intentionally/unintentionally running fails to return its exit status to the OS.
Or it also happens due to the sasser worm which kills the LSASS.exe program.
Try running a full virus/spyware scan on your system.
If it doesn't work, post the complete message you get before your computer reboots.I'm sure you see some message.

Okay you have a problem...
There are three basic sources of automatic reboot problems:
•Recovery settings
•Software incompatibilities, including driver issues
•BIOS problems ...right lets get to fixing some of it...firstly to stop it automatically rebooting when you shut down lets do this..
1.Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2.Click the Advanced tab.
3.Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.
4.Clear the Automatically restart check box, and click OK the necessary number of times.
5.Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

Dear,
Download and install AVG antispyware from www.ewido.net and update it.Then run a complete scan and delete the whole bugs found.Your problem will be solved.
