The word comes from Greek words meaning "practical hands"

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking what a Chiroprator is?

It's a doctor that studies chiropractic medicine, which is a system of therapy which holds that disease results from a lack of normal nerve function and which employs manipulation and specific adjustment of body structures (as the spinal column)

A doctor who cracks backs. They usually think they know everything and think they can cure every disease known to mankind, but really they just want your money. They only help when you go to them. As soon as you stop, the pain comes back. So they don't really fix anything.
