Looking at ur profile u really seem to be suffering from depresion. But u havent mentioned since when ur getting thease symptoms. Posp-partum depreation is common but genetic factor also plays important role in it. Depression is completly curable by medicines if treated early. So immidiatly consult ur doctor and start treatment.. Dont keep thinking about ur past or about ur disease. Try to get involve in ur hobbies.if u dont have hobby then devlop it or else try to keep ourself busy in some activity. Most imp of it discuss this problum with ur husband, friend or parents, they can help u lot to get rid of this problem. Mild physical exercise is also helpfull. Try to get rid of all those negative thinking, have a possitive attitude towords life. For more help see following link or Email me on sachinpw04@yahoo.co.in

First you want to get a blood test to make sure you don't have something like anemia or hypothyroidism which often goes undiagnosed. I can tell you I felt the same and it was anemia which surprised me because depression runs in my family.
There are lots of books in the public library about depression and how to treat it. It can sometimes be treated with inexpensive products bought at the health food store or with prescription medication. In both instances, it is a good idea to run your treatment ideas past your doctor. Some medications which are described on the Internet are Celexa, Paxil, Effexor, Prozac, Wellbutrin, 5-HTP, Sam-E, St John's Wort.

I take Cymbalta. It helps sooooo much. I have taken three kinds of meds and this one works the best. It's great. It just takes the edge off things. You dont feel drugged or anything like that. But I still sleep alot. On the other hand, I work nights and I think a big part of my sleeping so much is because of that. Try looking up the website for Cymbalta. This site gives ideas and questions to maybe discuss with your doctor. Dont be embarrased. It takes a strong person to say I need help. Best of luck.

Regular exercise is is the best way to feel better. If you feel too tired to exercise vigorously, try a short walk. Eat a well-balanced diet, and make sure you are getting enough sleep. Also reduce your use of caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. Cut back on watching television and spend some time with friends. Stay active.

oversleeping and weight gain are part of depression I would try to find something that makes me happy if I were you and then keep it in your thoughts and it should help you with your depression I have a friend who is a therapist and she would say to get to the closest one near you and get it checked out you would be surprised at how many women suffer from PPD even years after having children and I know of some who keep it with them even after their children move out at 18. It is something that needs to be taken care of before your daughter picks up on your habits and she will if you don't try to make a change, so be the best mom you can and go get checked out so she doesn't grow up thinking that it may be her fault that you are always depressed

set yourself goals, easy ones at first and make sure that you achieve them. It could be stuff like walk for 2 miles to start with then build up to other things.
Also exersise at least for 30mins a day, if you weight gain has be a lot then you will have to start with light exersise and build yourself up.
Make sure your diet is good, avoid alcohol as best you can.
this worked for me.
