I always feel terrible when my aunt comes round too, why is that? perhaps becasue she is so boring and has a moustache, and well dressing in rags would make anyone feel terrible, I'm with you on that whole thing. why would these issues only affect women though? I've seen many male tramps dressed in rags but they look perfectly happy so maybe you have a point.

Well, if a man has been with a woman long enough to know what her cycle is, then he knows about what time of the month she will be getting cranky, etc. in which case he is simply telling the truth. But for the guys that blame all of womens' negative emotional expressions on that, they are just immature. It is natural for a woman's emotions to fluctuate at certain times in accordance to what is happening with their bodies, but for men to put all the blame in one place is just irresponsible, insensitive, and ignorant.

NOTE FOR GUYS: If a woman is on her period, make sure she has:
1) Plenty of Midol
2) A good heating pad
3) The complete DVD set of Friends, Sex in the City, Grey's Anatomy, etc.
4) Approx. 20 lbs. of Chocolate
5) and SPACE (when she needs it)

Your anger issues with men are really affecting your life; are you capable of asking any question that isn't angry towards men?

You're going to be an old maid in a couple of decades unless you can change your mindset.

Its because men do not understand women completely... They aren't meant to.. Just like we wish they'd understand why we have off days, they wish they understood why we have them too... Just be patient with him, don't bite his head off, (at least try!;)) show him that this won't always happen, and you'll be fine soon, but that you just need a moment to regroup.... Men always want to fix things, so they feel they help when they give a solution... well women don't want a solution in the moment of emotion, we just want to be held, and told that everything will be okay, and that he cares... we also want to talk it all out, and have him just listen... but when he keeps hearing his love talk about her problems he starts to feel like he's letting her down... and thats hard for a man to cope with... his woman is his world (though they don't always admit that shhh.. don't tell that we know !!)

so next time, tell him, "I love you, I need you, and I just need a little time to let this out, and I want you to be there for me, you can help me solve this by just holding me and telling me you won't leave me"

This way he will know that you love him, and he'll see that all he needs to do to solve this is simply holding you... what guy doens't like his one and only in his arms? he'll feel like he can do anything, because he is getting you through... :) It works!

We all have off days and women are more in touch with their emotions and are willing to show them. Guys just don't know how to deal with them sometimes. We try to rationalize and solve and when we can't we just attribute it to the menstrual cycle.
