Paul even goes back to the creation time (before sin) to prove his point in the next couple verses so those who claim changes in time or culture are incorrect. This is the way things were created. And as far as prophesying yes all even children can prophecy which is speaking the Word of God. We all should do that and encourage and uplift each other. To bring a Word of comfort form the Bible is to prophecy but this is not Preaching. As always the ways of God are continually attacked and we are warned that many false teachers come from within the church. However I do believe there are many good women teachers (properly teaching) and the church benefits greatly from many godly women.

A lot of these women think that God only meant that for cultural purposes rather than structural purposes. Maybe it has to do a little with proving a woman is every bit as good as a man.
I agree that no man is better than a woman but I do not understand how a woman can be the husband of one wife as the Bible says that a preacher(bishop is the term the bible uses KJV) must be.
I would almost go as far as to say that God placed that rule there because some men are too weak to accept a women as there shepherd, and would find it difficult to go to church where women are in charge, but God did in fact spell that out for us

Quit making excuses, people. The bible is timeless or it's not, people. So what the **** is up with women preachers? Are they all ******* illiterate? Just what bible is it that they are reading from? Maybe my dumb *** is ******* missing something. I see these women on TV preaching from something they call a Bible. Now the last time I checked, a Christian "Female Preacher" is an oxymoron, like "Military Intelligence" or "Jumbo Shrimp" or "Religious Tolerance" or "Free With Purchase."
What the **** part of "Let your women be silent in church" (1 Corinthians 14:34) are these painted whores not understanding? Is the bible somehow irrelevant to these estrogen overdosed, bible thumping, nail polishers? What ******* part of "It is an abomination for a woman to speak in church" are they managing to ******* overlook?
On one hypocritical hand they say "God loves you" while on the other manicured hand they ignore " "Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness. I permit no woman to teach or have authority over men; she is to keep silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor" (Timothy 2:11). Jesus H. ******* Christ on a pogo stick. Did they miss that part where the loving God gives all females pain in childbirth for the transgressions of Eve?
Have some ******* self-respect, woman! The bible says you're nothing but a breeding machine, and Christians waving and thumping on the bible were the last bastion of resistance against allowing you to vote. You don't think Eve was blamed for all evil entering the world by accident, do you? Have you ever heard of Pandora? I don't give a flying **** how much lip service you give to feminism and equality. If you are a woman and a Christian, you are your own ******* worst nightmare and the only thing that makes me more vomitous than priests is women who aspire to be priests.
Hell, free thinkers rebelling against the "word of god" over the years and dragging the fundies into modernization is the only reason you're not still property that's bought and sold from your father to whatever husband your father struck a good deal with.

If you read on, you see that WHEN a woman prophesies, she should have her head covered. You take special instructions for disorderly women and make it apply to all women. You need to study, not only words, but the circumstances the entire letter was written. You need to know, by reading the letter, the things wrong at the place the letter was written. You need to pick up on the fact that 2 women were quarreling and disturbing the congregation at Corinth. Study deeper.
There is a vast difference between a preacher/teacher and a Deacon and an Elder/bishop. The preacher of the Bible was NOT leader of the congregation. The Elders/Bishops were. The qualifications you have here are specifically for the congregation leaders. The preacher is just another Christian and not the one with authority in Christ's church.

They say that they are being 'led by the spirit', but I think that the spirits are demons posing as good angels. That and feminism, where a woman can do anything that a man can do, and do it better! Pure evil, the more evil that Satan can get people to except as good the farther into evil he can lead them, and the more that they will believe evil is good and good is evil, just like the Bible says they will do. We are watching the end of time as all of humanity has known it. Jesus is about to come in the clouds of glory for all to see and there will be none that do not see Him come at the same time. Another words All Will See Jesus Come From the East All At The Same Time, and I do not mean on TV, I mean with their own eyes, and yes even the blind will see Him, and even the def will hear the voice of God pronouns the coming of His Son on that fateful day.

I extremely do not have any mission with women people preachers. The co-pastor at my church is a woman, and he or she will be able to evangelise your socks off. My mom preaches at her church at times and my large grand mom develop right into a preacher. God can artwork through a woman similar as a guy. As for political leaders...i'm pleased with that too. notwithstanding i'm no longer strong with Hilary. i might want to by no skill vote for her. i do not have self belief her one bit. Oh, and btw i'm baptist too. God bless you.

Should women be ministers?
Those charged with oversight of a congregation are described in the Bible as being males. The 12 apostles of Jesus Christ were all males, and those later appointed to be overseers and ministerial servants in Christian congregations were males. (Matt. 10:1-4; 1 Tim. 3:2, 12) Women are counseled to “learn in silence with full submissiveness” at congregation meetings, in that they do not raise questions challenging the men in the congregation. The women are ‘not to speak’ at such meetings if what they might say would demonstrate lack of subjection. (1 Tim. 2:11, 12; 1 Cor. 14:33, 34) Thus, although women make valuable contributions to the activity of the congregation, there is no provision for them to preside, or to take the lead by instructing the congregation, when qualified men are present.
But may women be preachers, proclaimers, ministers of the good news, outside the congregation meetings? At Pentecost of 33 C.E. holy spirit was poured out on both men and women. In explanation, the apostle Peter quoted Joel 2:28, 29, saying: “‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I shall pour out some of my spirit upon every sort of flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams; and even upon my men slaves and upon my women slaves I will pour out some of my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.’” (Acts 2:17, 18) In like manner today, women properly share in the Christian ministry, preaching and conducting Bible studies.—See also Psalm 68:11; Philippians 4:2, 3.
Hope this helps

God has 2 wills, One is his PERFECT will & the other is his PERMISSIVE will, God's perfect will is that it has to be scriptual, & God's permissive will is that anyone that keeps on insisting something, Then God will allow that person to go ahead, but their reward & punishment will be according. God has never called a woman to preach, they called themselves & it comes down to money. So the 2 wills of God is his PERFECT will, It is according to his word, & his PERMISSIVE will is that person wants to do it no matter if it is against the word of God, So God says, go ahead & you will pay at the end.

Why not? Women can be just as delusional as the men.
What I find ironic is Phyllis Schafley...she goes around making preacher-style sermons about how women are supposed to serve and not lead. I attended one of her speeches...and the repeated ironies she kept spouting finally drove me from the room.
