To make a long story short, I had issues at work that I didn't tell my b/f right away.....mangerial type things that I had done and didn't agree with and my boss telling me too much personal things that I didn't feel comfortable hearing....My b/f now is upset b/c I didn't come to him with this and now he doesn't trust me and thinks my boss wants to sleep with me, which isn't the case. What should I do now??????

It doesn't make sense that your bf doesn't trust you, when he thinks it's someone else that wants to sleep with you, not you with them. It sounds like he doesn't trust you. Try explaining the situation to him, and if his selective hearing kicks in again, there may be no convincing him that you're not being unfaithful, so move on. You deserve better than to be questioned constantly about what goes on at work.

Tell him that you didn't want to bring any drama home. Every job has some nut that has to bring all their personal crap to work and while there are sympathetic people there to listen or vent to, it shouldn't be YOU to take crap from anyone...ESPECIALLY from your B/F!
It's not your obligation to tell him everything unless you want to ...
BUT say, if you chose to quit and it affects your money situation then you must resolve that yourself if you chose not to share with your roommate/boyfriend who might be paying the other half of the bills. That's really the only time it should affect your B/F.

Best of luck...As far as resolving this with him, explain it...how the "sleeping with the boss" came into play sounds more like the jealous b/f syndrome! Nip it now otherwise it can happen again later down the road.

if possible leave the job and find some another if u continue to work at the same place misunderstanding will continue and u will spoil your love life. because anyway your b/f thinks that ur boss wants to sleep with u so he will always have that insecured feeling which will keep him upset daily and ultimately you both will end up in a mess. hope u understand what i mean to say. all the best

I'm not quite sure why your b/f is mad at you. This is work related and as long as you are not having an affair with the boss and you are with your b/f and only your b/f then to me it's not a big deal what is going on in the workplace. You have seperate life from you b/f and you don't have to involve him in everything that you do.

You'll have to allow time to heal the trust factor, but meanwhile you should help it to move along quicker by explaining to your boss that you are just interested in a professional relationship. Get him to back off in telling you personal things about him. That will show your boyfriend that you are serious about earning his trust back and that you are serious about your relationship.

Keep work at work, and home at home...don't mix the 2...and besides, even if your boss wanted to sleep with you...that's called sexual harassment...telll the b/f to mind his own business and worry about his own job...not yours.

I assume your b/f either doesn't work or has no responsibility. If nothing was happening that he had a need to know then he needs to grow up. Work is work keep it that way.
