I need to lose 25 lbs. Does anyone have any other better ideas??

If you want to lose weight quickly then weight training is the way to go.At first you may start with smaller weights and gradually start using a bit heavier.
If you don't want to go with that then I think you really look after your diet and switch to a low calorie diet with fruits and vegetables.
Running is a very effective way to lose weight, if you have the stamina to run for long periods. This is because when you run, the fat is burned from all areas of your body at the same time. You may start with small runs.
and when you are looking tolose weight, patience is the firstthing that you need. If you don't have that then it becomes very dificult.

First: don't expect immediate results other than a few pounds. Too many people want to drop 25-30 lbs too fast! You COULD do it, but it'd be mostly water.

Also, have you established your Target Heart Rate? If not, and you're working ABOVE It, then you will amost certainly fail! You'll get tired and your body will start to burn MUSCLE rather than fat! (You're into anaerobic, not aerobic, exersise then). That could be the cause for fatigue.

You didn't say how old you are, but if you're over 30 and/or have had kids, your metabolism slows dramatically. You should try exercise that you enjoy....whatever they are...and shoot for "LSD" (Long, slow distance)...at LEAST an hour of mild, aerobic exercise.

Combine this w/weight training (again, not anything too strenuous--I've heard only good things about Pilates), with your current eating regimen, and you should see results soon!

As for "goals"...try setting your goal as "getting healthier" rather than the number of pounds...most trainers advocate this as a long-term life change.

East smaller portions, big carbs in the morning, big protein after exercise and only veg in the evening. Don't drink alcohol, keep exercising and don't look at the scales for three months. Do some weight training. The key is your metabolism. If you remember that some people can eat like pigs and never get fat, then you might appreciate how important this point is. Read about it. You need to stay relaxed and KNOW you are going to lose the weight. If you're stressed after three weeks you are setting yourself up for a fall. Chill!

honey, u re eating way too much and exercising way too little. decrease one and increase another. i eat twice a day, go to gym every day for 2 hours and work out like there is no tomorrow and don't eat anything afte gym which is around 7 pm ends and still im not losing any weight(well, actually i don't need to, but u know). so my advice as a pro - if u don't see any results during 2 weeks change smth - either eatl less, eat some other food , exercise more(and i mean a lot more than u do now)

There isn't enough information to really see what is happening. What is as healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner? How many calories, carbs, proteins, fat?

The exercise portion seems to be ok.

From what I can tell, the problem lies in what you are eating and how much. It could be that you aren't getting enough of the right things.

I have lost 33.5 pounds since July 15, 2006 and it hasn't been difficult. I have been using Stack Body Tune Up to assist me.

One final note, it's not all in the exercise. It is also in what you eat and how much.

If I can be of further assistance, let me know.

3 weeks is too early to notice a difference. It took me almost 2 months to start to see a difference when I started putting real effort into my weight-loss plan.

How big, or small are your meals? If you are starving yourself you won't see much of a difference for quite a while, and then gain it all back plus 50% when you start eating normally again.

How much water are you drinking? You should be drinking at least 8 glasses a day, if you are, then good for you. If you aren't, then you need to try.

Do you drink milk? Health Canada suggests drinking 3 "8 oz" glasses of milk a day. "24 in 24" is the curent campaign.

If you are doing everything in a moderate and healthy manner, then you'll just have to have patience.

My best advice is switch it up. If you do the same routine for a while step it up or switch to something new. Your body may just need a shock.

You probably aren't that overweight so it is going to be harder to shed the pounds. Keep it up girl. Remember though weight is not everything. You are healthy for eating well and exercising and that is what matters.

in basic terms one thong works. eat a life like weight loss application. stay far off from the chocolates. And exercising. walk, jog, do leaping jacks,do something. The trick is extra going out than getting into. each between the burden loss application courses and pills you notice on television say the comparable element. Works whilst used jointly with weight loss application and exercising. that's the latter that works.

Try increasing the intensity of your workouts, get the most out of every minute of your exercise. Add jogging and running intervals in with your walking.

You might be eating too many calories. You can only lose weight if you are burning more than you consume.
