One of the WORST things in your life are those stupid magazines that post photos of those famine-induced, anorexic/bulimic starving to death models -- and ... for your own health and well being...

This is NOT the shape women were meant to be in!

With any more than one child -- and the children in short succession one after another -- the muscles have been damaged due to the stretching necessary due to pregnancy.

LOVE the shape you are in ... and embrace it. It is the shape of a woman who has HAD children -- and that is something to be proud of (especially if you are a responsible parent).

Anything's possible, but I would think it would take alot of work and dedication. I'm 39 and only had one child and my stomach isn't flat. I can suck it in, which works with clothes. I think if you put in the time and effort you could do it. But with 4 kids, would you have the time to put into it? Just losing some weight can make you're stomach not as big.

If you have stubborn belly fat, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises. During activities like swimming, rowing and walking, enough oxygen is supplied to the body to burn fat. Fat is burned from all over the body, including the stomach. If aerobic exercises are done regularly over a period of time, you will gradually lose weight. The healthiest way to prevent a fat stomach is by ensuring that your weight is normal for your height. Ensure that the energy provided by the food you eat matches the energy you burn performing your daily activities. Losing fat around the stomach takes time. Yes, it is possible. However, it's also possible that one or more of your pregnancies stretched your abdomen too much or a c-section separated your muscles, which would make it very hard to get your stomach flat.

It can only help your health to try, though.
