Anyone know of any good reki masters i could train with. i live in North Yokshire. Some people have said i have a the "gift". How can i open it up again as I haven't really seen that much since i was a teenager. Shut myself off as it was all a bit scary and I couldn't cope with it but now feel as if something is missing and i need to express it.

Im a level 3 practitioner and feel great. The only problem is am very vulnerable to peoples energies and tend to 'take it on' and not be able to let it go out of my system, which in turn harms me while practicing reiki.
But overall...its one of lifes greatest mysteries, and Ive seen people heal through it. God bless.

hey to bad your not in Australia, my mum is one, and I'm actually doing my reki 1 this week.. I'm excited, she is a great teacher and is very powerful, I'm trying to develop my spiritual side and become more in tune to it and my medium abilities, i often talk to the upstairs as i call them..lol (ghosts, angels and so on ) and enjoy it.. believe it or not.. its very amazing, I'm 18 now and i wouldn't let mum do it before i was 18, i didn't feel right about it, i know for a fact this has worked.. my mother is very good, she healed a horrible cut that was very badly infected, she did an hr healing on it. and the next day, the cut was healed, no infections, no scabs, nothing, it was just a freshly healed cut.. it was amazing to see it for my own eyes.. this was a cut that was infected, my body rejected the stitches, it was pouring with puss. they thought it might even start to go to gang green... and this healing was only an hr long, and the next day when we had to change the dressings, it was all gone... so those who don't believe, how do you explain that..

Reiki is based on the power of suggestion I'm afraid. I'm not saying that you shouldn't look into it if it interests you but it's about as useful as crystal healing and evangelistical faith healings. It's just a placebo.
