It's getting to that time of year where all the root and Christmas veg are coming into season, such as parsnips, carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, etc.

The best way to use them is to make a nice winter root veg soup.

Or you could roast them. I like parsnips and carrots that have been drizzled with honey and then roasted.

Sprouts are in season at the moment.
Massively underated veggie.

Try this:

Get hold of some fresh, organic sprouts, boil them for about 2 minutes, cut them in half or quarters.
Fry them with some bacon cubes (lardons?!), some dried apricot pieces, half a fried onion and a little chilli oil.

Deeelicious!! x

I love baked butternut squash or taking a medium size pumpkin and stuffing it with rice, breakfast sausage and some seasoning. Then bake it at 375 till it is soft to a forks jab.

Also stuffing a pumpkin with cut up apples, raisins and Cinnamon and baking.
