electrical stimulation of the temporal lobe, ingestion/injection of the chemical DMT
cannot make people tell others about facts that they would have no knowledge of
or make people see things in another rooms from them that they didnt know where placed there
or cannot make children give descriptions of people who have passed on that they did not know in life

There is really only one way to find out and it's pretty hard to let others know after that.

The funny thing is, all of the studies described can be replicated with three techniques -- electrical stimulation of the temporal lobe, ingestion/injection of the chemical DMT, or the use of a centrifuge.

So these studies are hardly proof. I myself have had an NDE and multiple out-of-body experiences. I saw nothing in them to convince me that there was anything 'on the other side'.

Nor can an afterlife hypothesis provide scientific evidence. The afterlife is by definition supernatural, and therefore outside the realm of evidence.

Funny how these sites also pick and choose which subjects they report on instead of all children or all people who come near death. Sigmund Fraud (not a typo) did this very thing by taking fifty autistic children, picking the three that supported his theory, and reported on those three while not mentioning the other fourty-seven. That's not even bad science, that's outright fraud.

The only place we need to investigate this subject in is the Bible, God's word. It is his view that matters.

DEUTERONOMY 18:10-12 - a warning of how God feels about contacting the dead
Think about this - if it was our dead relatives we were contacting via a medium, why would God condemn it? Why would he not want us to be comforted by it?
Because it's not our dead relatives we are contacting, that's why.
They are demons trying to mislead us - REVELATION 12:9

The dead are unconscious with no thoughts or feelings
ECCLESIASTES 9:5 & 10 & PSALM 146:4

The only hope for the dead is a future resurrection onto the earth
JOHN 5:28,29 & PSALM 37:29

Lazarus had been dead for parts of four days but didn't say anything about being anywhere else when Jesus raised him
JOHN chapter 11
(verse 24 shows that his sister believed in a future earthly resurrection)

To say that a person or personality survives in some way after death is an extention of the lie that Satan first told Eve
(GENESIS 3:4) He said that she wouldn't die but she did.

Beliefs should ALWAYS be backed up with Scripture

When I was 29 (I am now 62) I was extremly ill and in hospital for 5 months. It took 4 years for me to recover my health.

Whilst in hospital I had many strange otherworldly experiences, including visitations from the 'other world'.
I stead of saying 'Prove it is true!', why not ask 'Prove it is not?'.

I now live in a former chapel, which is haunted. This has been witnessed by several friends over the past feew months.

I live in an English village, at the foot of an ancient Roman road. It is claimed the entire village is haunted.

I produce a monthly magazine, in which this topic is explored. However, there are many others readily available in your local bookstore.

An excellent book is 'Afterlife', written by Colin Wilson.

the laws of thermodynamics and conservation provide the proof you need to answer this question;

"energy/information (energy is pure information), in a closed system (the universe), can neither be created or destroyed, but transforms from one for to another."

"high preassure has to move to low preasure." "hot has to go cold," etc, so you, at bodily have to transform from one form to another, retaining the energy/information that makes you up, but in a different form; your spirit. You do indeed live after bodily death, but because of sin you remain in this system- Gods recycle bin. God cannot look at sin so you stay bound to a system that God is going to eradicate to get rid of this virus of sin, he will do this with fire- again using thermodynamics. That is why He sent His Son to put new saving information into the system, so that all who would come would be saved, through the Messiah Yehshua.

I haven't investigated it, but I have experienced it. A few years ago I died for a few minutes. I would have stayed as it was so beautiful but the love for my family here on earth brought me back. Since that day I am not scared of death or dying just that this life will be over b4 I have lived it to the full.

Life after death is a certainty. For those who love the Lord Jesus Christ. There isn't enough room here to provide all the promises fulfilled in the bible. Unfortunately people choose their self-interests over God sometimes and that is sad. Always seek the truth, both in this world and beyond!!!

Unless one is truly dead, say a week or more, and "comes back" to life, I won't buy that they have been dead and have any knowledge of a "beyond" state of existence. The Human body is capable of many strange quirks that can happen during extreme trauma and many of these have been misinterpreted as an afterlife.

The first site wouldn't load it just appears to lock up, the other two sites don't have any proof, just psychic babble.
Proof is proof.
Irrefutable evidence.
Double blind tests.
Proper documentation and records.
If you do that, the "establishment" will believe.
If you can't do that, well, we have status quo, feeble minded thinking that believes in invisible beings.

Yes, I've investigated it. I've looked at all of the so-called evidence that it exists and found that evidence extremely unconvincing. I've also looked at the nature of the mind and how the brain works. I've seen ample evidence to show that you can't have a mind without an associated brain. I've also seen ample evidence that as a brain is damaged, the mind goes.

I didn't know about these organizations. I have gotten my belief of the spirit living on after death from experience with dying people for many years.
