thats a funny Joke, But all kidding aside, I belive it makes more sense to call yourself an agnostic than an atheist. you see, there can be no such thing as atheist. To say there is no God is to imply you have enough knowledge to know there is nod God. No atheist can have enough knowledge to be certain there is No God. let me explain further. Scientifically we know less than one millionth of all the knowledge in the universe. imgaine for a momnet that you know an incredible one percent of all knowledge, in the 99% of knowledge you havent yet come across could there be ample evidence for God? if your honest, you will agree, because we cant know what we dont know. if there is any knowledge we havent come across, or anywhere we havent been, God could be there. since having absoulute knowledge is to be like God, and no atheist can have absolute knowledge, athiesm is self refuting. It would make more sense to say "given the knowledge I have at presetn I see no evidence for a God." that implies that you have a limited knowledge and at the presetn time given the knowledge you have, you see no presetn evidence for Gods exixtence, thus you would be a Agnostic.

If you are unsure of your belief that God does not exist, you should become an agnostic. If you are even asking the question, the answer is yes.

You can be both.
An atheist agnostic is someone who doesn't believe there are any gods and who thinks that if there were gods, we wouldn't be able to have direct knowledge of their existence anyway.
A theist agnostic is someone who believes there is at least one god but who says you can't have direct evidence of its existence.
A theist gnostic is someone who believes there is a god and believes they have direct knowledge of that god.
An atheist gnostic is someone who doesn't believe there are any gods and thinks we would know of them if they were there.

I would think only you could answer that one Jim. It would depend on you suddenly believeing in a supreme being of some sort. Then and only then, change your religious affiliation you must.

I realize it is a joke, and a funny one at that. And again I say someone's choice in religion (even if it is not to choose) is their own.

Be whatever you want to be, as long as you're happy, and not hurting yourself or anyone else.
