How can one person know for sure that another person is going to hell? What if a sinner repents? What if a person never knew Christ in their life and doesn't know any better? Doesn't God take that into consideration? How do we as humans know the criteria to get into heaven? The Bible is a guide, but there isn't a master check list. I've seen on yahoo answers people telling the person who posted the question that they are going to hell. No, no one has said it to me... but it bothers me when people post that. They don't know who the person posting the question is or where they're coming from. Why would someone say that?

Exactly - no body can tell any one where they are going because even that person doesn;t know for sure where the person is heading to - afterall it is only something that you learnt about heaven and hell and no body know whether they exist or not !

Telling someone that they are going to hell is real simple, since everyone, including Christ, goes there when they die. That is where everyone goes, until the resurrection, unless they think they are better than Jesus. Of course, in the oldest scrolls, there is no words that translated as hell or hell fire, so it doesn't really matter.

Will they remain there rather than be resurrected? No, as everyone, regardless of what they did takes part in the second resurrection of Revelations. Now, whether they are raised to everlasting life on Earth, or to a declaration of judgment, that is up to God. If to declaration of judgment, than like the fallen angels, they will be informed of the decision. Unlike the fallen angels, they will cease to exist at that point, even in the minds of those living.

One person can't judge another on weather or not they are going to hell. I'm sure God takes into concideration people who have never been taught about Jesus. We as humans only know the basic teachings of Jesus, so we have to trust in our own intuitions to do what is right or wrong outside of that. Which gives us a bit more freedom. To tell someone else that they are going to hell is to judge them, which is something totally ANTI Christian. "Judge not, lest ye be judged." or "Let he who hath not sinned, cast the first stone." Are BASIC, EASY, and VERY well known teachings of Christ that anybody can embrace.

I think I have an answer with two points:

1. Many of these people are just being jerks to make religious people look bad. They think it's funny. I know, it's pathetic.

2. Jesus even said that He didn't come to judge the world but to offer it grace and forgiveness. When mentioning hell, He was almost always addressing those that were supposed to already have faith in God - to show them the error of their ways. His instructions were to share the good news of God's grace and, if then, there were people that didn't want to believe, we were to brush the dust of their town from our feet and move on. He didn't say we were to condemn them.

All someone can tell another person is that if they continue to live a sinful life style and fail to turn to Jesus that they are on the broad way that leads to hell.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Matthew 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

No one can say with absolute certainty that another individual will actually end up in hell. They can only warn them that they are on the wrong road and exhort them to make a U-turn to Christ for salvation. The theif on the cross demonstrates for us that no matter how long a person has remained in their sins, God is willing and able to save them if they acknowledge their sins and turn to Him for salvation before they die.

Luke 23:39 One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, "Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!" 40 But the other rebuked him, saying, "Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." 42 And he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." 43 And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise."

Some people tell others that because they don't like when others have a different opinion then their own because they feel if others think differently then one of them must be wrong and no one wants to be wrong. I know I am not going to Hell because I don't believe there is such a place and what others say do not bother me.

Blessed Be )O(

ain't it though? How should one deal with the fact that their own parents beleive their child is going to hell because she doesn't attend church anymore and smokes, drinks, premarital sex...ect... thats me...i was brought up conservative baptist...left the church at 18...because they didn't like me questioning everything...so my parents made me move out and i have been on my own since (23now) for a few years there was little relationship with them...we are better now...regardless they are my parents...but it is always me who trys to smooth things over to hold onto our relationship. My mom tells me all the time that she prays i don't die and go to hell...that i get right before i die..it hurts me...i feel they can't accept me for who i am...because they are blinded by there "religion" in my opinion it's more like a cult. nobody knows if someone else will be going to hell..only God...it's not cool to judge like that...and who knows we may all be wrong about everything...

Some people like to feel superior to everybody else. It’s not a very nice Christian trait, but I suppose that’s between them and God.
They need to remember the caution in the Bible. As you judge so will you be judged.

Law imputing sin and death for the hell of it is as law law as it gets; Since law imputed sin makes sinners all, none righteous, no, not one. God is one. We all are one. But not one proselyte.

To wit: that God was in Christ reconciling the world.
(Pst - that God wasn't in Jesus alienating the world)

"Peace with God", and "eternal salvation" are both notably "through Jesus->Christ" ends with "Christ": "the end of the law", "the Saviour of the world" that God so "loved" (not hated).

ppl recovering from gettin "high" speak of a "higher" power.
many seem to be gettin "high" on Jesus this new dark age.
seems to be a common among jews, muslims, christians.
guess they know not high-minded among un-holy in 2Tim 3.

Pst - "he that endureth to the end shall be saved(only)".
Perhaps they who didn't endure got saved + destroyed.

Scriptures were written aforetime, and for our "learning".
Perhaps to go learn what meaneth Mt 9:13 is a go figure.
And "not" part of God's will is: not then, not not, not ever.
God never desired sacrifice for sin (is of law & by law).
Nor did God ever take pleasure watching such law law.

Law Law: our slaughtering better than their slaughtering.
Evident: no man is justified by the law in the sight of God.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.
