God has given us many things richly to enjoy and some guidelines as well. He has defined some areas as ‘no go zones’ as far as our behaviour is concerned. Essentially all God’s rules are for our benefit. Nowhere is this more clearly seen than in the way he has given one of his greatest gifts: human sexuality.
Abstinence from sex until marriage is key for building intimate and long lasting relationships. It draws two people closer together emotionally and is a special time when each person can spend time getting to know one another. The desire to avoid sex before marriage encourages self control which ultimately demonstrates trust to a partner. In turn this trust allows vulnerability towards each other producing a fruitful and intimate relationship.

God believes we are precious people and our mind and body are not to be taken lightly. In Proverbs 5.15-17 from the Bible it says:
'You should be faithful to your wife, just as you take water from your own well. And don’t be like a stream from which just any woman can have a drink. Save yourself for your wife and don’t have sex with other women.'

and it has been established in the Bible that sex exists between the married couple and nobody else outside of the marriage. But what about sex before marriage, what does the Bible say about that? In 1 Corinthians 6.15-16 from the Bible it says:
'Don’t you know that your bodies are part of the body of Christ? Is it right for me to join part of the body of Christ to a prostitute? No, it isn’t! Don’t you know that a man who does that becomes part of her body? The Scriptures say, “The two of them will be like one person.”'
and In Mark 10.9 from the Bible it says '… no one should separate a couple that God has joined together'. Marriage involves two people willingly committing themselves to each other until one dies (emotional commitment), joining together as one in the act of sex (physical commitment) and God carrying out his part in the spiritual realm (spiritual commitment).

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

first, not sure your bible translation, but Jesus is Mighty God not Almighty God. that pretty important to understand.

second, Jesus meant that when a person begins to ponder on things like lust or looking at a woman, you begin to dwell on bad thoughts that eventually lead to adultery, A person does not commit a sin without forethought. Which is why sin can mean disobedience, sin is also can be thought of unclean. Which sins like adultery are.

There is nothing wrong with sex before marriage. Its more natural then waiting till marriage. To much pent up repression in the world as it is.
