Your question is too vague. What do you want to know?
1. names suitable for your pet bird?
2. Names of species that are parrots? Common names or genus and species?
3. The Genus or Order name for the parrot family?
4. Something else?
Please be more specific

"true parrots" are part of a larger order called Psittacidae. Psittacidae is then divided into two groups, the cockatoos and the "true parrots". The family of "true parrots" is called: psittaformes (parrot)

Here are some examples: parakeets, lories, rosellas, lovebirds, african greys, conures, macaws, amazons, fig parrots, hanging parrots, quakers, pionus and the taxonomically mysterious hawk head parrot (really neat, smart birds. Here's a pic) : http://www.aquahobby.com/zeco/psit/Deroptyus.php
