Find another vet and get the pup there ASAP. That puppy is suffering and needs help. As I've discovered over the year's, all vets aren't trained or experianced equally. There are a few minor thing's you can treat yourself, but anything having to do with the eye's isn't one of them. Good luck to you and that pup you oviously love.

One of my dogs scratched her cornea and had a spot like that for a really long time, it just needs to heal on its own and it does require antibiotic ointment a couple times a day. I can't remember what it was called, but the tube definately disappeared before the white mark did.
Although, if your dog is scratching it, I'd try putting him or her in a Elizabethan collar to avoid him/her damaging the eye further. The scratch may have happened after the vet visit from all the itching.
Bring your dog back to the animal hospital and have it rechecked.... then ask for and E-collar and, in time, your pup will be good as new.

Eye problems are nothing to treat on your own, as they can become worse very quickly. Call your vet now. I am not a vet and am not familiar with the medication you used that made your dog cry out in pain. DO NOT use anything in your dog's eye that your vet has not prescribed. Among other things, if by chance he scratched his cornea during this past month, any medication that contains cortisone has the potential to cause an ulceration. Call your vet today.

ok, what you ought to do is enhance the supplies of the joints, bones and muscular tissues aroung the hips. once you're on the puppy shop to get dogs nutrition, not walmart or another shop, look on the components and what the nutrition does on the bag. you like a nutrition intense in calcium and protien, calcium especiallyat a petsmart or petco, you are able to ask approximately hip issues, motives of the themes, and scientific care by nutrition and different strategies. shop him lively however, using fact he's a lab and that breed needs interest. you're doing large with him now, and he's youthful so dont be too in touch concerning the seems of the hips now, labs dont stop developement till they are 3. shop him lively and feed him a stable nutrition, not something particularly low priced, witch is rather expert for the breed. confident, there are some available, made i think of by making use of purina, if not then by making use of iams. desire this helps.

I would call the vet today. A month is too long to go with the little guy suffering. If you're out of the medicine and there's no improvement, then I think the vet needs to be notified. Good luck to you and your little one.

first you need to stop giving the dog meds that the vet didnt perscribe. you could be doing MUCH more damage. second, you need one of those cone collars so the dog CANT scratch it. its just making it worse. you need to go back to the vet and get it checked out again. if you dont, that eye has a good chance of going blind.

Try Swedish Bitters from www.swedishbitters.com . Simply rub it on your dog's eyes, one at a time, with a cotton ball. It may sting a little going on, but it is very good for the eyes.

Did your vet stain your dogs eyes for ulcers? If not please have your vet do this. It is important to rule out ulcers before putting any medicine with cortisone in it. Because this could make it worse. Good luck.
