All is well in the family and with the Kids they each know other as siblings .Now will it be wise to tell the one I found that Im not the "real" Dad?

When the child is older I would tell them. If for no other reason than what would happen if the biological father appeared one day out of the blue to say "I'm your daddy?" YOU are the real dad, and the child will know that, biology doesn't make a father, love does, but I don't think it's right to hide the fact that they have a different biological father. The child is still a sibling to the others because they all have the same mother. The child is a half brother/sister to it's siblings. I have 2 half sisters, 2 step brother, and 2 step sisters. No whole siblings. Step is when you both have children from previous relationships and get married. Your kids are then step brothers/sisters. Half is when you have a child from a previous relationship and the have more children with the new husband. All the kids have one biological parent and the oldest one has a step parent.

I mean I guess the logical answer for this is more what you and your lady decide but I will give this a shot....I think if the biological father is not in the picture and depending on the age of this child he has the right to know, but I do not agree with that....I mean I would leave well enough alone if I thought it was in the best interest of the child ..I fell if you are the dad you are the dad it takes more to be a dad than them sperm the created the child.......but with this there are things you have to look at also ....if the child needs a kidney or something down the road...I pray this does not happen ...then the father might be needed...and then this could cause some friction in the end......that is really all I can think of...hope it helps

Its not mandatory to tell the child, but keep in mind they may find out later on and be very hurt and confused. It would be easier to learn and accept coming from you and the mom at the right time. This way you are there to reaffirm your love for the child and answer any questions.

You want to tell your girlfriend who cheated on you while locked up that you know you aren't the real dad?? Sounds like you want some self-satisfaction...but why tell her NOW? Shouldn't that have come out before the 2 or 3 more kids??What is it going to accomplish now?

I think you are a great man first of all... To him/her you are his/her real dad and you raised/took care of them all this time. I would just wait until he/she is old/mature enough to handle what really happened, and even though it happened the way it did you still love him/her as if you were dad. Good Luck to your family

Every child has the right to know who there bi logical father is, but....any man can make a baby, but it takes a real man to be a father.

well if u love that child like urs then don't tell him anything, but if u wan to ruin the yang child's life then go ahead, I'm proud of those dads who can take care of children even if they aren't biological fathers.

Sure after a while feelings and thought may begin to surface, and she/he may overhear ed a conversation,so it is best when time is right to fill in the blanks, when it is necessary.
