I see cars with cancer ribbons for awareness, but would you put a ribbon for aids, PCOS or Diabetes on your car? At any point, would you be embaressed ....is it too public for you to advertise your health problems?

Having a magnet on your car doesn't necessarily mean you have that illness, it simply means you support awareness and education of that particular cause. So, yes, I would put those magnets on my car, especially if I did have a disease.

A lot of times it isn't those that have the disease but those touched by it in other ways. For example loosing a loved one. If we put as much as we should and could as a nation into healthcare research we wouldn't need these magnets on cars, hence the reason to raise awareness.

Naw, it's just that I don't clutter my car with stickers. www.hufa.org is the organization I (with help) have started to support the awareness of my particular illness, but I have not even had a license plate frame made up.

I would not put one on my car because in a resale value it would not be worth as much. It messes up your clear coat/paint job.
I would tho wear a bracelet, t-shirt, or any other item to bring awareness. I do it for blood drives all the time. Go Donate Blood!
